This not only represents a new company record, but also shows that Solaris now needs expanded production capacity to support its growth plans and fulfil its orders.\u003C\u002Fstrong>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify\">The development in the Środa Wielkopolska area does not come out of nowhere, as Solaris has operated a key production base here since 1998: this is the site where the steel frame structures for its buses and trolleybuses are produced. With the inauguration of the new hall, however, the role of the location is being significantly expanded, as it will now carry out not only frame production but also complete vehicle assembly. In practice, this means that final assembly of city buses will in future take place in parallel at two plants, in Bolechowo and Środa Wielkopolska, which could improve both production flexibility and throughput.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmedia.magyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F06\u002FFCS_Solaris_1.jpeg\">\u003Cimg loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-92924\" src=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmedia.magyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F06\u002FFCS_Solaris_1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"494\" title=\"\">\u003C\u002Fa>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify\">According to Solaris, the newly opened unit alone increases the company’s current annual production capacity by around 500 vehicles, and also represents an important step towards the manufacturer reaching, and exceeding, an annual production and sales level of 2,000 units. In 2025, the manufacturer \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmagyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F02\u002F27\u002Fa-solaris-volt-tavaly-a-caf-novekedesenek-fo-hajtoereje\u002F\">delivered a total of 1,631 vehicles to its customers\u003C\u002Fa>, 86% of them in low- or zero-emission versions, meaning hybrid, battery-electric, hydrogen-powered or trolleybus models. Together with last year’s record order intake, this clearly shows that both Solaris’ output and the importance of zero-emission powertrains are increasing, while the company’s production base must also be aligned with this volume.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmedia.magyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F06\u002F728893492_1403993265091107_4476943985900752606_n.jpg\">\u003Cimg loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-92925\" src=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmedia.magyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F06\u002F728893492_1403993265091107_4476943985900752606_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" title=\"\">\u003C\u002Fa>\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify\">At the same time, the capacity expansion is not solely about serving the current European order book. Solaris is also opening up in parallel towards new geographical areas and market segments: the company has already begun fulfilling its first North American orders, and is preparing for further expansion in the United States and on the \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fmagyarbusz.info\u002F2026\u002F03\u002F27\u002Fmar-tobb-mint-270-trollinot-rendelt-a-translink-keszul-a-csuklos-prototipus-is\u002F\">Canadian market\u003C\u002Fa>, while in Europe it also intends to broaden its offering in the segment of electric interurban buses.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify\">The move across the Atlantic, however, is not a uniform task; while the Polish production base may play a meaningful role in serving the Canadian market, in the United States a longer-term presence may, because of Buy America requirements, be much more closely tied to local assembly or manufacturing capacity. The Środa investment therefore primarily strengthens the production background for European volumes, Canadian export opportunities and new products, while serving the US market may follow a partly different industrial logic.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: justify\">The company’s management also places the Środa investment within this broader growth trajectory.
