The agreement for the delivery of a total of 381 Prevost X3-45 Commuter long-distance buses includes a firm order for 250 vehicles, which are to be delivered to the New York transportation company between 2025 and 2026. Thanks to this large order, more than 150 new employees have been hired at Prevost’s Sainte-Claire plant (Québec, Canada) since last year, and the contract also provides work for local suppliers. According to the official renderings, the vehicles will arrive in a single-door configuration equipped with a wheelchair lift in the middle.
